01 · SCOPE

This policy covers the Citadel website.

This policy applies to personal information processed when you visit citadelpci.com, follow its product links, or communicate with Citadel about the website or its products. The website is intended for business and professional audiences.

AWS Marketplace and other third-party services have their own privacy practices. Product, subscription, support, or contractual terms may also govern information handled through those services.

02 · INFORMATION RECEIVED

Information Citadel receives.

Information you provide

If you contact Citadel, you may provide your name, business contact information, organization, role, product or subscription details, and the contents of your request.

Website and device data

Hosting, content-delivery, and security providers may process standard request data, including an IP address, browser and device type, timestamps, requested pages, referring page, and diagnostic or security events.

Marketplace activity

Citadel may receive business contact, subscription, entitlement, transaction, or support information made available by a marketplace or supplied through its vendor channels.

The support request form prepares an email in your local email application. Form entries are not uploaded to this website; Citadel receives them only if you send the prepared email.

03 · USE AND DISCLOSURE

How Citadel uses and discloses information.

  • Respond to product, purchasing, support, security, and privacy inquiries
  • Confirm subscriptions or provide product-related support
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website
  • Maintain business records and enforce applicable terms
  • Comply with law and protect Citadel, its users, and others

Information may be disclosed to service providers that support hosting, security, communications, and business operations; to professional advisers; when required by law or needed to protect rights and safety; or in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or part of a business.

Citadel does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

04 · COOKIES AND TRACKING

Cookies and similar technologies.

Citadel does not use this website to serve targeted advertising or track visitors across unrelated websites. The site and its infrastructure may use strictly necessary technologies to deliver pages, maintain security, balance traffic, and preserve basic service operation.

This policy will be updated if these practices materially change.

05 · RETENTION AND SECURITY

Retention and security.

Citadel retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including support, security, legal, accounting, and business-record needs. Retention periods depend on the type of information, the relationship, and applicable obligations.

Citadel uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. Security measures reduce risk, but no online system or method of transmission is completely secure. Sensitive data should be shared only through an approved channel and only when necessary.

06 · EXTERNAL SERVICES

Marketplaces and external services.

Citadel links to AWS Marketplace, its public Trust Center, and other third-party resources. When you leave this website, the destination service controls its own collection and use of information. Review that service's privacy notice before providing information or subscribing.

Citadel and its service providers may process information in the United States and other jurisdictions where they operate. Those locations may have privacy laws different from the laws where you live.

07 · YOUR CHOICES

Your privacy choices.

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may be able to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information, or object to or restrict certain processing. Citadel may need to verify your identity and may retain information where the law permits or requires it. Citadel will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

An authorized agent may submit a request where local law permits. Citadel may ask for proof of authorization and direct identity verification before acting on the request.

08 · UPDATES AND CONTACT

Policy updates and contact.

Citadel may update this policy as the website, service providers, or legal requirements change. The “Last reviewed” date identifies the current version.

For a privacy question or request, email support@citadelpci.com and use “Privacy request” in the subject line. Citadel may ask for information needed to verify and respond to the request.
